It’s time to catch up on a lot of publishing and competition success. This list probably isn’t exhaustive. Members of the Circle are encouraged not to be shy and let us know if any writing is accepted for publication or has won a prize. It’s inspiring for everyone.

In no particular order …

Charlotte Eichler has just had her debut poetry pamphlet “Their Lunar Language” published by Valley Press.

Andy Armitage has had his poetry pamphlet “Letter to a first love from the future” published by Half Moon Books.

Strix Magazine, the creation of members Ian Harker and Andrew Lambeth, has recently celebrated its first birthday and fourth beautiful edition. Featuring a number of contributions from Circle members, Strix was shortlisted for Best Magazine in the prestigious Saboteur Awards.

Sarah Brooks has been setting the literary world alight, winning both the Bare Fiction Short Story Prize for “Sandgrown” and the Walter Swan Short Story Prize for “A Delicate Balance”.

Graeme Hall was the winner of the English section of the Macau Literary Festival short story competition and has also recently been published in Litro Online. His story “A Love of Numbers” was an Editor’s Pick.

Emma Storr won 3rd place in the international Hippocrates Poetry Prize for “Six Week Check” and was highly commended’ in the YorkMix 2018 poetry competition for “Your Skin”.

Sandra Burnett has her poem “sixties usherette” published in Magma 71, the film edition.

Pat Belford has sold her Victorian short story “The Poet’s Daughter” to The People’s Friend.
